Nearly half of NHS staff in London abused by patients

We’ve heard about the multiple problems coming from the top when it comes to the NHS with this year’s strikes and funding issues, but what about from the patient level up.

Nearly half of hospital administrators in the capital experience abuse from patients on a weekly basis – with staff spat at and verbally and physically abused.

I spoke to Tom Whicher from DrDoctor, the organisation who carried out the research to delve into the shocking figures.
