Road hierarchy: The Highway Code is changing

The Highway Code is changing, but new research shows that over half of UK drivers, and 38% of drivers here in London, are unaware that the new laws come into place tomorrow.

Slater and Gordon, who carried out the research, say it’s important to understand who has right of way in the new ‘hierarchy of road users’, to avoid liability and serious accident.

We spoke to Tracey Benson, Head of Serious Injury at the firm.
