New exhibition displays work from children impacted by Dementia

Caring for a person with Dementia can take its toll on loved ones…

New research from Dementia UK has revealed that children are the unacknowledged sufferers when it comes to the illness.

And as symptoms and decline usually happen in private, the charity wants to open doors to ways of coping.

It’s now launched an exhibition of work from children impacted.

Shadia spoke to Clare Childs who cares for her mother with dementia and explains how it affects her young kids.

The exhibition is still on in central London, giving a voice to the children living with dementia, shining a light on the help that is available.
