Why the defibrillator database The Circuit is so important

The London Ambulance Service has joined The Circuit – a UK-wide database that provides ambulances with the most reliable and up-to-date information about the nearest defibrillators to a cardiac arrest.

The London service joining The Circuit makes the database truly nationwide for the first time, with all 14 of the UK’s ambulance services now connected.

One person who knows first hand how important access to defibrillators are is Ripon Danis, who suffered a cardiac arrest outside a tube station in 2018.
