Think Active: Several barriers stopping women and girls getting active

A new study focusing on women and girls in the capital has revealed that sports bras are only on 14% of UK schools’ PE Kit lists, and that this is causing girls to dread or even skip school sports.

This is just one of a number of barriers preventing young women from feeling like sport and exercise is a viable avenue for them to express themselves.

Think Active are trying to change the stigma and James has been hearing more from Sarah, who leads the women’s and girls project at the company.
