The ‘Small Talk Saves Lives’ campaign re-launches

In a bid to prevent suicides, The Samaritans, Network Rail and British Transport Police have re-launched the Small Talk Saves Lives campaign.

Statistics show that 1 in 5 people in London say they’re more likely to make small talk with strangers now restrictions have lifted and the campaign’s goal is to empower the public to act to prevent suicide on the railways and other settings.

Dr Lisa Marzano is a Suicide prevention expert and has been telling Alicia more.
